WT-102 Class A or B interior, BLACK latex based intumescent fire-retardant coating. Flat, flame proof paint for raw wood, closed cell EPS Foam and other surfaces. This unique, non-toxic formula creates a safe and effective flame-seal barrier on wood surfaces that slows the flame down allowing extra time for occupants to exit, protect property and save lives. Unlike competitor products, WT-102 has excellent adhesion and performance abilities. In addition, WT-102 is fully registered and approved by the CA State Fire Marshal as an interior intumescent coating. When applied to raw wood, this product meets a variety of fire codes such as CA Title 19, ASTM E84, NFPA 255, UL 723, British Standard 5867 and 476, UBC 42-1 and many others.

Class 1 or Class A flame retardant for raw wood. Coverage is 135 sq. ft. per gallon or 200 sq. ft. per gallon in 2 coats. Available in Black, White or Color-Base for tinting to bold and bright colors. White can be used to tint to pastels. Minimum order of 300 gallons for Firetect to custom tint.
