APPLICATION PROCEDURES:
Before using, user must determine suitability of this Tree Safe for
its intended use.
 | Applicator must wear paint goggles, respirator and gloves. Mix
Tree-Safe well. |
 | Tree must be clean of loose branches and needles. Tree must be
completely dry before applying Tree Safe. Apply Tree Safe with airless
paint sprayer. |
 | Make sure that every exposed area of the tree is heavily covered
including top, bottom and sides of every branch. Also, the entire tree
trunk must be covered except for the bottom of trunk to allow for water
absorption. Let tree dry and cure for 24 hours prior to applying 2nd
coat. In addition, tree must be kept dry and out of the rain for the
life of the paint. |
 | Note: Christmas trees have performed well in exterior
applications with an additional coat of FR-10 clear flame-retardant
coating. However, exterior testing is not complete for this type of
application. Allow tree to completely dry before adding any decorations.
When tree is ready for placing into an approved stand, cut 1" off of
bottom of tree trunk which will allow for maximum water absorption by
tree. |
 | Tree must be placed in an approved tree stand that holds sufficient
water for tree absorption. Check water level on a daily basis or as
needed to ensure water absorption by tree. |
