PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
FR-10 Latex Varnish is a non-hazardous, non-toxic, non-carcinogenic Class
B, interior, semi-gloss flame retardant varnish. Use over wood,
fiberboard, plasterboard or other decorative products. FR-10 can be used
in conjunction with WT-102 intumescent latex flame retardant coating for
additional flame-retardant properties.
TECHNICAL DATA:
 | One gallon covers 200 square feet in one coat |
 | Weight is 60 lbs. per 5-gallon pail |
 | Shelf life is two years if container is unopened |
 | Do not allow to freeze. Store between 40ºf - 80ºf. |
 | Once container is opened, chemical must be used completely |
 | Once applied and dried, do not use harsh detergents on surface |

APPLICATION PROCEDURES:
Before using, user must determine suitability of this product for its
intended use.
 | Prepare substrate by sanding and removing any silicone or oil based
coatings that may already be on wood. FR-10 will not adhere to a surface
that has not been properly prepared |
 | Applicator must wear paint goggles, respirator, and gloves |
 | FR-10 must be mixed well |
 | FR-10 may be applied by brush, roller, or spray |
 | Coverage is 1 gallon per 200 square feet |
 | Cover entire exposed area |
Certification for the State of California requires application by a
California State Certified Applicator to comply with requirements of the
California State Fire Marshal.
CLEAN-UP:
FR-10 can be cleaned with soap and water
CAUTION:
Keep out of reach of children. Do not ingest. Call physician if swallowed. Clean with soap and water all contacted areas.
WARRANTY AND DISCLAIMER:
Use only as directed. Sellers and Manufacturers only obligation shall be to replace such quantity of the product proved to be defective. Neither seller nor manufacturer shall be liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential, arising out of the use of or inability to use the product. Before using, user should determine the suitability of the product for its intended use. The user assumes all risk and liability whatsoever in connection therewith. Any statement or recommendation not contained herein shall have no force or effect unless contained in an agreement signed by officers of seller and manufacturer. Deterioration of coatings applied to interior finishes can occur due to atmospheric conditions, cleaning of the surface or painting over applied coatings. Fire Retardants shall possess the desired degree of permanency and shall be maintained so as to retain the effectiveness of the treatment under the service conditions encountered in actual use. Periodic testing is recommended.
